Axe Throwing Tournament - Saturday 10am

Bit of fun for 2026.  In line with "Body" day on Saturday, we have a physical challenge for you.
 
30 players will compete head to head in a knockout tournament to win not only bragging rights, but a bottle of mead (alcohol free alternative available) and some sort of trophy I'll make!  😃
 
There are 4 competition grade lanes with general throwing axes, not competition grade hatchets.
 
Competitive fun for ages 12+
 
Rules & Gameplay
 
Fault Line: Players must stay behind the 12-foot line while throwing. Stepping over is a 0-point throw.
Scoring: 1 point (outermost), 2, 3, 4, 5 (bullseye), 6 (red dots), or 8 (clutch) points. 50% or more of the axe head on a line moves to the higher score.
Stick Time: The axe must remain in the target for 3 seconds for the score to count.
Kill Shots: Players may choose to call a "Kill Shot" (two small blue dots on the board) on their 5th and 10th throw for a higher score (8 points) or to break a tie. It must be called before throwing.
Safety: Never cross the fault line until the judge signals. No throwing while others are in the lane. One hand only, overhead throws.
Minimum age:  For ages 12+ Anyone under 18 needs to be supervised by an adult
