When = Saturday 14:00 to 15:30
Where = Workshop ShelterOnly 10 places!
A hands-on guided practical workshop where you can make a felted wall hanging approximately A4 sized. You will learn the whole process from raw materials to finished artwork.
What is Wet Felting? Wet felting is an ancient, hands-on craft that transforms loose wool fibres into a solid, durable fabric using only warm water, soap, and physical agitation. By rubbing and rolling layers of wool, the soapy, warm water causes microscopic scales on the fibres to open and lock together, resulting in a dense, felted material
The workshop will run for approximately 1hour 30 mins, anyone finishing earlier will be able to try their hand at wool carding or peg looming.
The guests will take away their wall hanging which can be either spiritual or purely decorative.
All equipment, materials and PPE supplied
Workshop led by Icelandic Woolart
